Eiscafe Pino - Rüdesheim am Rhein

We have just had the misfortune to visit this awful Eiscafe and wish we had seen the poor reviews before we went. Maybe they don 't think their customers matter because they are opposite the Seilbahn and pick up random customers but they are so poor they fail to operate within the law. We requested 2 small spaghetti ice creams which are listed as costing €5.50. When the bill came it was 13 Euros. We queried this and they told us that because we weren 't children we had to pay €6.50. Nowhere in the menu did it say that a small spaghetti ice was €6.50 so basically they decided to charge whatever they fancied at the time. When we queried it the girls were very rude to us. Saying 'they are refusing to pay '. I argued that they were not able to charge whatever they liked but was told about 4 times that it was 'your problem '. We paid to get out of the damned place. Also my ice cream was considerably larger than my husband 's. There is a lot of competition in Rudesheim so choose a cafe that respects its customers, charges a suitable price and doesn 't abuse you when there is an issue. As an aside, I have always ordered Kinder ice creams and have always been charged fairly. Avoid at all costs.

We order 4 ice creams and they brought only 3. the forth one was forgotten. We order it again and it came after 35 minutes. Personel was very rude. Also the location is very loud and crowded

Located directly at the entrance of the cable railway which is always crowded and loud. We order 5 ice creams and the waitress made a mistake with one of them. of course we ask for a new one which never came because they forgot it. When we ask for it, we got a very rude answer you must wait, we have more to do here .

Stopped for the Rudesheim Cognac Coffee but also tried the pizza and although the Coffee was the best the pizza was a very close second.

Very good ice and nice operation. I can only recommend this ice cream. Price is OK.
