Contribuiți la feedbackIt was about coming after the appointment of a doctor, and we were very happy that we did. split an salat, brot was excellent, and a lot to eat even without appetizers. farm, very tasty. save them space for dessert! the chocolate pot de cream with bourbon impact cream was to die, and large enough to share. Go!
We had a very pleasant evening in a beautiful historic restaurant. The food was beautifully presented, well prepared and reasonably priced.
Fantastic as always. Loved every bite from starters to desert and coffee. Will keep going back!
You always want to see success for nice folks. Jane and Josh, the owners, are working hard every day creating and crafting new recipes. Wild Roots is a labor of love and worthy of support of quality cuisine with easy access along the I-89 corridor. Give them a try.
The service and ambience were excellent. However the entree choices on the menu were very limited and the restaurant was even out of at least one of the limited selections. There wasn 't any chicken or fish on the menu. I attended the restaurant with my wife and a friend. We all ordered the same entree and we all felt the food was not properly prepared and our small servings of veal were smothered in a ketchup like sauce that overwhelmed the veal. We also all agreed that the Polenta tasted like scrambled eggs. Our appetizers were better and the cocktails were excellent. But the check for the three meals and drinks came to almost $300. The restaurant is only about a mile from my house so my wife and I will definitely go back and give them another chance. We have been going there off and on for many years, when they are open. During the past five years or so the restaurant has gone through several managers and chefs. It is located in a small rural community in central Vermont. I suggest they focus on offering a good, affordable, well prepared foods and a dependable menu rather than trying to be Vermont 's Hidden Kitchen.
