Sal's Italian - Royal Palm Beach

This place isn't bad at all, but I feel like they could be something better. It tasted good, but it just lacks something special. I understand that there are only one of these in half a chain style as there are other places, but I feel how it might have been better.

First, let me just say I'm Italian, so I'm pretty critical when it comes to Italian food. Secondly, I went to lunch with some friends and there were hardly any people in the restaurant when we were there. The waitress, Maria, was very nice as soon as we were recognized. And I think she was the only server I could say. After taking over all our orders, it felt like our food was used forever. As I said, the restaurant was almost empty. The iced tea was terrible, so some of us had to exchange it for a limo. I ordered the soup and salad lunch speciality. The only soup selection for the special was Pasta e fagiole. I didn't like there was any other soup option. But the soup was very good. The salad was also not bad, but it had no arugula in it, which should be a clamp in an Italian restaurant in my personal opinion. The meal also came with garlic bread rolls. This should have been the highlight due to other reviews. Although the bread itself was very soft and very good, the garlic and the oil on it had a very funny taste that was indescribable. All in all, not my favorite by far. Worth the money? But I could have been home better. Bye!

We ordered 2 large pizzas, salad and garlic rolls. When we came home with the food, we realized that 1 of the pizzas had pineapples on it and we didn't order it at all. I checked the entrance to make sure the order was correct, no pineapple and it was. We live 25 minutes away from this place. We called that the pizza had been done wrong and they seemed like it wasn't a big deal. We drove all the way back with the wrong pizza to get the pizza we actually paid. You made us the right one, and then you told us we kept the coarse pizza we wanted? Really? How about a refund or something else we really like? Honestly, we will not visit this place again. You really need to work on customer service and realize how uncomfortable we were by there and back twice (not to mention the gas we was wasting).

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. Last weekend I bought her seafood pasta and a Stromboli. My husband called and treated the most unfortunate incompetent employees. He had to repeat the order more than 3x to make it right and the prices were absurd. When he picked them up, all sides disappeared. That didn't surprise me. We decided to give them another shot this weekend and again another employee who speaks like a **** and could not get the order right. The order was a salad and a Stromboli. After repeating the order several times we called back and canceled the order immediately. Don't go here. If you call an order by yourself, you're not chasing away, your prices should be.
