Makeb's Bagels Deli - Royal Palm Beach

I discovered this bagel shop on the map, and with a rating of 4 stars, we decided to check it out. Upon entering, the place seemed somewhat sparse and a bit untidy, but the food looked appealing, so it wasn't a major concern. The menu was a bit confusing, and the woman at the counter appeared annoyed when I struggled to decide on the type of egg sandwich I wanted. Additionally, the prices weren't displayed, so I was uncertain about what to expect cost-wise. Ultimately, the food turned out to be quite good, although it was on the pricier side. I'd say give Makebs a try if you're in West Palm Beach, but I think I might skip it if we come back.

Once we received our food and helped ourselves to coffee, we settled down to eat. The food was definitely fresh, earning a solid three stars. However, our sandwiches lacked additional flavors, sauces, or spices, making them dry and bland. While they were sufficient to fill us up, we really wanted some extra flavor—perhaps a bit of mayo or spreads would have elevated the meal. Overall, this is a no-frills breakfast spot, so don’t expect anything more than simple ingredients cooked and served. The restaurant itself was clean. We had an egg, sausage, and cheese bagel sandwich, as well as an egg, ham, and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel, paired with hot coffee from the coffee bar.

I've been visiting this restaurant for the past four years since it opened, and I can't praise it enough. The portion sizes are generous, the staff is very friendly, and the place is always clean.

Normally a great place, but sometimes the employees do what they want with your order. I order 2 sandwiches and a dozen Bagels early this morning for my family. I was asked if I wanted my Bagels sliced, I said no. When I got home all 12 were sliced and toasted. I am very disappointed :

This is my go to bagel place. They make a great bagel and will do the egg to order (I like mine over easy).Eat here weekly. Mobile ordering leaves something to be desired so I just order at the counter.
