Iron Horse - Royal Oak

We started with the chips, salsa, and queso as an appetizer. To our dismay, it appeared to be the cheap, microwaveable Tostitos queso paired with some basic jarred salsa that you'd find at any convenience store—simply dumped into small serving dishes and priced at $10. We almost decided to cut our losses and skip the main courses, fearing they would be just as unimpressive, but we decided to stay. Fortunately, the mains were a more positive experience. My wife ordered the cheesy grilled steak burrito while I tried the sweet Mexican pizza. Both had decent flavors, though neither was particularly memorable. We've always enjoyed the Mexican mules here for drinks, and they did not disappoint this time either. Unfortunately, later that night and into the next morning, both of our stomachs were upset. I'm inclined to blame the microwave queso since the other dishes were reasonably good. The ambiance at Iron Horse remains lovely, and the owner/manager, who often plays host or helps with cleaning, is always very friendly. Our waiter, while not unfriendly, could have been a bit more engaging. Overall, this visit has probably lowered Iron Horse on our list of dining options. We’re not planning to avoid it completely, but we will definitely steer clear of the queso and salsa in the future. On a scale of 1 to 10 to quality of the food was a number-one overpriced got a blond waiter waitress rude as hell

This place has poor customer service. I just need a couple a questions answer and I get hung up on for a first time customer I wouldn’t recommend it if you want to be treated like nothing Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
