Iron Horse - Royal Oak

Eating was excellent! the ambiente is very beautiful and rustic; the music is a bit loud and makes it hard to talk about the noise the drinks were too expensive and not as expected. had an aperol splash that watered down, prosecco? didn't even think she put it in the drink. Overall, I would go back for the great tasting eating, but stay away from the drinks.

Hallo, we found this restaurant that only looks for something else in royal oak. they also advertise as mexicans. first the place smells like a steakhouse, that would be great if they were a steakhouse! so I ordered the enchalata meal, my partner had the tacos. at the end of the meal we both shared our thoughts and they turned out to be identical. I don't know where this restaurant makes her eat. but both of them tasted like they had been heated several times. eating was quite cold and you could actually see that the kind of movie that gets food when it looked out. we asked us 8f maybe they lead a food truck and then keep usold meals. Yes, it was so bad! we didn't want to make a scene about it, but when our waitress asked, we told her our opinion. to our surprise she told us most customers complaining along the same lines! she even offered a few alternatives in the anti-for Mexican food that she claims would be much better. That was enough for us. We don't come back!

I’ve been wanting to visit this establishment for a few years now and I’m so glad we finally made it because it’s a keeper. We had the nachos and guac and cheese bread. The guac was amazing as was the cheese bread. The interior was a bit noisy, but we sat along the side toward the back (I believe on Open table it was called social distancing 2.0) and it was perfect. Incredibly cozy on a rainy night in December and absolute perfect ambiance for a post Van Gogh in America art exhibition snack. Service was great too. Do yourself a favor and try this place.
