Contribuiți la feedbackI don't typically eat shrimp, scallops, lobster, calamari, or octopus. You may be wondering why I was at Red Lobster. However, my wife enjoys shrimp, so we decided to visit the restaurant.
I was excited to try Red Lobster as a seafood lover, but I was disappointed with my dining experience.
Strange experience. Had to wait 20 minutes for a table for just one person, and there was no available bar seating either on a Thursday at 2pm. I'll have to pass on this place.
I don't want to slam them. Our waiter was the bartender who was also the host. It was admirable how well he did under the circumstances. He got me the allergy worksheet so I could avoid my dairy allergy. Turns out I only have 4 choices. He suggested a skewer of grilled scallops. I was excited. And I could have the quinoa rice. The plating was non existent. They really could have tried a little in the kitchen. The crab cake and the brussel sprouts were great. Hopefully they can get staff soon.
Food was yummy. We of course ordered too much. Biscuits. Fried Calamari. Lobster Bisque. Admiral's Feast. Leftovers to take home. Waitress, Kari, was excellent! Super friendly. Very attentive. Very professional. Really knew her stuff. Hustled and did a great job. Too full for dessert. Had a very nice dinner.
