Vesuvio's Italian - Roxboro

Dining here was very strange, I was expecting to hear Gordon Ramsay yelling in the back, then burst out screaming Shut the place down! We were looked at funny for walking in the front door, and we found out why shortly after we were seated. We were seated by the emergency/fire exit, which was propped open so patrons could enter and exit using it. It appears this is the norm, as everyone that entered during our visit used the fire door. This would be no big deal, however directly on the other side of this door is the smoking area for customers and employees alike. Due to the door being propped open, we were able to enjoy a side of cigarettes with our meal. To go along with that, the table beside us were vaping and blowing thick clouds towards the door. Speaking of our meal, we did manage to gag most of it down through the vape and cigarettes, though we would have had a better experience just buying frozen dinners next door and eating at home. The pizza was decent, the spaghetti sauce was on par with the generic brand at the grocery store, the alfredo sauce was good enough to compare to the name brand at the store. As I write this, I am clinging onto the toilet for dear life at the grocery store next door. My wife is in the ladies room and I can hear her doing the same. Large meat pizza is the best! Lots of cheese and great combination of meats. Best thing is we can reheat when I get it home so it's still out-of-the-oven hot but not overcooked.
