Mayflower Seafood - Roxboro

I wouldn’t give this place any stars if I could! This place is definitely not associated with the Mayflower chain in Durham and other places!!!! Very small portions for the prices. The buffet was bare, they said for 30 mins that they were putting fish out, but they never did. You have to order and pay before you are able to sit down and eat in. Very few things on the menu and no kids menu. There was a hard shell of some sort in my daughter’s French fries

We have attempted to eat at Mayflower twice since they reopened in their new location. Both times we have walked out. First when they had first reopened. My husband wanted to try the buffet. We stopped in on a Saturday and they informed us that the buffet was $19.99/person. There were only a couple of items on it, no way we 'd pay that kind of money for a buffet with just 3 seafood items on it. We gave it a couple of months so they could work out the kinks. We stopped in today. The girl working the register handed us menus and asked for our order. We both ordered the shrimp meal that was listed for $7.99 on the menu. We also just had water. She told us the total was $21. I asked how that could be. She said the shrimp plate was $9.99. I pointed to the price on the menu she provided to me and said that it shows $7.99. She said they must have raised the prices . Ummm, you gave me a menu with a price on it. I think that 's what I should expect to pay, not have you add $2 to each meal and try to sneak it by us. She refused to honor the price that was on her menu, so we walked out. Go to Danville if you want to eat at a good Mayflower. It is much better run than the one in Roxboro.

THEY 'RE Under New management and ALL I can Now Say THANK YOU LORD GOD JESUS !! I 'D Went back after about 7 months and Found Seafood Heaven !! FIRST and Foremost of ALL the previous owner and GM was suffering from PURE Distain towards Everyone ! I got so mad that right after I left and sworn to Never go Back ! BUT I 'd did SEND That Evilass Mad Max Type of Manager (FedEx) a Box of Tampons !! With message : take three of Theses and call a Doctor in the morning . !!

Young waitress needs to stay off her phone and pay more attention to customers needs. Been there twice and had to go and have drink refilled at front counter. Both visits, same young girl on her phone!

We love the people always nice and helpful congratulations on the mayflower we love the taste of NY pizza
