Barrocos Latin Cuisine - Rowlett

This place is so cute! We sat on the patio and had some of the best Mexican food and drinks we’ve had in a long time. I can’t wait to eat here again soon!

One of me and my wife's favorite restaurants! Everything is always perfect, food is delicious, margaritas are the best.

This is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in the area, and until recently, one of the most economical. They have recently raised prices, but the food is so good and the portions so large that they can be forgiven.Actually, the restaurant is more of a central American and Mexican mix. As an example, few traditional local Mexican restaurants highlight plantains. Barrocos does.The restaurant is very small and is located in one of the oldest buildings in Rowlett so it has a fun ambiance. Just don't go during peak times or you will have a wait.

Loved this place! I celebrated my birthday here. First time and definitely not last.

Came in and waited over 10 minutes to be greeted and 10 more minutes to get drinks even though it’s very hot in the restaurant. Asked if they could accommodate a bean and cheese burrito because I don’t eat meat. They said yes. Beans. Cheese. Tortilla. Easy. It came out a beef burrito. Cool, I understand he probably had to ring it in a beef burrito bean and cheese only and the kitchen didn’t read it. Sure, I’ll wait. 20 more minutes no bean and cheese burrito. Really?? Waiting over an hour for a bean and cheese burrito? I finally had to ask to pay and leave. Incredibly disappointed. Even Taco Bell can figure out how to put together a bean and cheese burrito….
