Lowake Steak House - Rowena

Definitely worth the drive! I've enjoyed steak in various places across the country, and this is one of my favorite spots. While there are other steakhouses in San Angelo—though I use that term loosely—none come close to this one. Don’t waste your time or money anywhere else.

My husband and I absolutely adore Lowake Steakhouse! The steaks are incredible, far surpassing any we've tried in Abilene. Plus, their onion rings are simply the best! The service is consistently excellent, and it’s just a short drive from Abilene, making it a perfect spot for our date nights.

Don't let the exterior fool you! It's not much to look at and the parking lot is bad. But the food was great! Got the KC for 2 and the whole meal was so good. From the appetizers to the steak. Won't wait 50+ years to go back

The steaks here are absolutely delicious and authentically prepared, and the onion rings are simply out of this world. However, I found the salad bar to be unimpressive and believe it should be included with the meal, as the $3.00 charge feels excessive.
