Bel locale con pochi coperti in un'unica sala, senza menù scritto con possibilità di scaricarlo col qrcode , ma elencato a voce dal titolare con molta partecipazione nel descrivere i piatti proposti. Nel complesso abbiamo mangiato bene anche se, a mio avviso, il prezzo finale è risultato un po' elevato.
We were travelling on the highway towards Venice and we decided to make a stop over to have dinner. we randomly chose this restaurant and our choice was the good one. the owner told us a list of starters and main that was really terrific, i would have loved to try all of them but i end up having quail eggs and truffle and paccheri with bakon and caprino. my husband had baccalà and tagliolini with truffle and ham. all was really delicious. on top of that price was really good. i'd strongly recommend this place.
I have lived in Italy for 40 years now and this was one of the worst meals I have ever had. 1. Starter of quail's egg with truffle and spinach. The egg was uncooked, the truffle tasteless and the spinach too salty. 2. Pasta with porcini mushrooms. Pasta virtually uncooked, the whole dish tasteless. 3. Guinea fowl. Meat smelled rancid. Inedible. Stay away!
Just found out that the Hotel I'm staying has the nr.1 rating og restaurants in Rovigo. I had to have a go even if I had my main meal in another restaurant earlier today, sod you can say I'm quite full. I took a light meal, Ravioli with beef and ham and liquorice ice cream for dessert. Food was good, the dessert was surprisingly good!
