A&w Canada - Rouyn-Noranda

I recently visited A&W for the first time, and I was quite impressed! The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the customer service was outstanding—staff were attentive and prompt. I ordered the Spicy Habanero Chicken Burger, which was crispy and tasted incredibly fresh. I also loved their Habanero sauce, which had just the right amount of spice! Although the prices are slightly higher than those at McDonald's and Tim Hortons for chicken sandwiches, I think offering a student discount could encourage more people to visit. On March 7, 2021, I also tried the 'Buddy Burger au Poulet,' which was fresh and juicy! The pickles added a delightful tanginess to it. Overall, A&W is definitely a budget-friendly option for a quick meal!

I live in the area and consider myself a frequent customer. However, this is by far the slowest fast food restaurant I’ve ever encountered. The food is generally good, although they do mess up from time to time, but it's usually nothing major. The real problem is their speed—it’s honestly astounding. I just waited 30 minutes in the drive-thru just to place my order!

I was served the wrong burger and didn't notice until we were already on our way. Fortunately, this isn't something that happens regularly. Aside from that, the food is really quite good!

The hamburger is good. We love this place for drive thru.

The only reason they get 1 star is because the staff were friendly and apologetic for the wait. We waited 45 minutes for our takeout orders as we watched them give drive thru priority and work understaffed. Whoever is running this place you need more front cash staff and more people to prepare food for the front. We likely won?t ever be back.
