Food was ok but the price was a complete and utter rip off. €7 for a portion of chips and €8 for 2 cans of coke. I really got the feeling they’re ripping tourists/visitors off here.

Went in for lunch with a large group. Sat down, checked out the menu and then we all walked out. Small average menu but crazy prices e.g. €26.50 for a prawn cocktail, €7.00 for a portion of chips, €5.00 for gravy ! What a rip-off!

I had the goulash soup and the pan fried Hake with chips and my spouse the steak with boiled potatoes, red cabbage, carrots and spinach. The Guinness was cold and smooth, the food very hot and very good, service was attentive and friendly. With football playing on the TV in the connected pub it couldn’t feel more authentic. If somehow I’m ever this way again I’d certainly stop!

What a lovely welcome and fabulous food, we loved it here. The pub is a welcome stop in the Wicklow Mountains.

Such generous restaurant owners! My husband and I arrived late on Sunday evening without reservations and yet they squeezed us in for dinner. Seating us at a table with a warm welcome, right next to the cozy fireplace. Delicious Irish stew and thick slices of warm yummy bread. And, fine Guiness, of course. Thank you!
