Wayback Burgers - Round Rock

Not worth the visit. I think I’ll stick with Hopdoddy Burger. The tater tots were over-seasoned and way too salty. I ordered a cheesesteak sandwich, and the cheese wasn’t even melted. I also got a large simple burger, but it was too dry. The only thing I liked was the milkshake, but I probably won't return for food again. The service was disappointing; the cashier seemed like she didn’t want to be there. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she was having a bad day, but that doesn’t change the fact that the food was really subpar.

(Sigh) The food looked and sounded so appealing, but unfortunately... it was lacking in flavor and spices. The mac and cheese bites were essentially boxed mac and cheese formed into tasteless balls—though they were cute in appearance. The burgers and fries were nothing extraordinary; the meat was bland, the bread had no butter, and the potatoes were served without any salt.

The salad was poorly prepared, my sandwich was soggy, and the onion rings were just greasy. The bacon cheeseburgers were the only redeeming items, but I had to go back after waiting in the drive-thru for 20 minutes because they forgot the bacon and cheese. Will I return?

I recommend wayback burgers. I really enjoyed their fries. they earned 1 star back by cooking the undercooked (by my standards) speck I had asked to be crispy. very friendly staff nice clean restaurant.

Tried one of the best old-fashioned burgers I 've had in a long time. I ordered the classic but there are several yummy sounding burgers/sandwiches on the menu. I wanted a burger so I just focused on that from the menu. I 'm O-L-D so I think I know old-fashioned when I have one. Dine In. Drive Thru. Curbside. Reasonably priced delicious.
