Shipley Do-nuts - Round Rock

I've had better donuts. We visited close to closing time, which might explain why the donuts were stale and stiff. I was definitely not satisfied with this indulgence. However, the gentleman working there was very nice and friendly, even though we were those customers who arrived right before closing. I’m willing to give this place another try, possibly earlier in the morning when the donuts are made fresh. But for a late-night sweet craving, it's a no-go.

Kudos to the restaurant for having an excellent staff! I visited on May 22, 2022, at 3 PM and was truly impressed by the teamwork displayed by the two ladies. They were a fantastic hire. They were both kind and accommodating when my desired donut was not on the menu. The woman at the register was sweet and patient, while the girl behind her was quick to pack up my donuts. Together, they make a great team. I was also pleased with their hours, as not every donut shop is open in the middle of the day.

All the doughnuts werent fresh but the chocolate tasted and felt like it had been out overnight. It was disgusting. Next time I will stay in the RR doughnuts line because it will be worth it. also to add the price is more and the doughnuts are smaller

Way bigger inside than I expected it to be. So much seating and a great selection. At 3pm on a Sunday it was pretty much dead inside, and the gentleman working was gentleman working was so kind and patient. He was nice even when we took forever picking out a dozen, as we acted like we had never seen a donut before. I imagine it is incredibly busy in the mornings and on weekdays. Great little shop. Very convenient location

The meat kolaches had a bit more bread than I prefer, but everything else was great. I also received three complimentary donuts with every half dozen kolaches, which was a nice bonus.
