Santiago's Tex-mex And Cantina

The building used to house a restaurant called Red's Porch, which was famous for being dog-friendly. In stark contrast, the current place is completely unwelcoming to pets, even putting up a large sign outside that prohibits dogs. Because of that, I chose not to go in. Given the building's layout, it seems like a missed opportunity.

I had a wonderful date night with my partner. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for delicious food at excellent prices. Food: 4/5.

Outstanding Tex-Mex cuisine! Although a few of the servers could be a bit friendlier, I find it easy to overlook that because the food is so delicious. They certainly get the job done, but some staff members appear to have a lack of enthusiasm for their work. If I could rate them individually, those specific servers would only earn 2 stars for their friendliness. Nonetheless, the food is truly fantastic, and the atmosphere is enjoyable as well. It was really delicious food, but the service could have been so much better. The food is fairly priced and it has a good environment to enjoy some enchiladas or a tostada. Will definitely return.Food: 5/5

The food here is amazing. It reminds me of Mexican food from valley but with texmex favorites. One of the most authentic Mexican restaurants in Austin. I just love the play area for the kiddos. Sad that they removed the playground but there’s still cornhole a big area to run around. Service is always great too.Food: 5/5
