Contribuiți la feedbackThere were too many tables packed in a small room. There was food and garbage everywhere. The bathrooms were dirty. The server forgets things. Like syrup; Food was cold when they brought it. Although most of the foods were brought out cold. The chicken dumplings sat in watered soup. After a waiting period of 30 minutes, the drinks were diluted. The server disappeared completely, so we had to ask other servers to find him. We will not return to this CB.
So much food for a reasonable price. Would give a 5 star review if their steak they offer wasn't so tiny. The steak at Denny's is bigger. Just saying.

I would give it a 5 for comparison to other Cracker Barrel's Our service was pretty good after we we're finally waited on Staffing? But it is what is now We had a variety of breakfasts All good coffee great My only complaint is the check out process as I was standing in the imaginary lane And then another line formed Then I was told to go around to the back of the new line My verbal outrage was obvious Then when I made it to the checkout counter The lady brings up my being patient So this set me off Why doesn't Cracker Barrel have a simple sign showing where the nonexistent check out line is Now after my verbal mini eruption the lady explained to people Go to the middle of the store for the check out lane I was so torqued that I am not even sure if I finished paying I went back inside to inquire and there was a line wrapped all over the inside of the building It would be nice to either Pay at the table like chilis Or Have 2 people behind the counter And of course this imaginary checkout lanes
My wife ordered the kid's meal which was grilled chicken and mashed potatoes. The chicken was full of grizzle and the mashed potatoes were crusty. I got the Sunday fried chicken with okra and mashed potatoes. The okra must have been cooked way earlier and then deep fried again because it was tough. The chicken was nothing to brag about and the mashed potatoes were below average. The whole meal was just not appetizing at all. Even the biscuits were barely done. Worst meal we have ever gotten at any Cracker Barrel ever. If this Cracker Barrel had been the first one we tried, we would have never tried another. Just ate at one in Gainesville last week and it was really good. Won't be dining at the Round Rock Cracker Barrel in the future.
