La P’Tite Jeanne - Rouen

Hate to give a bad review but this was possibly the worst meal we've ever eaten out. We should have realised it wouldn't be fresh when both meals were produced in less than 5 minutes of ordering. I had steak and chips with green salad, the chips had been reheated, the steak so chewy that I had to spit it out and the green salad was a handful of limp lettuce. Béarnaise sauce cold and solidified. My husband had pork chop that was too tough to eat and thick with fat( not crackling), the same reheated chips and green beans cooked to a mush. When we complained, the waiter argued the point and after much debate, the waiter deducted €10. The food was an insult to tourists!

My wife and I enjoyed a very good lunch here several days ago with a view of the cathedral while dining outside. I had a plate of escargot and we both had the steak which was cooked to perfection. Service was excellent and prices were reasonable.

On August 31, 2019. This was the worst restaurant that we have EVER!!! eaten at. We were seated, reluctantly, by a nice young man, however then waited 20 minutes for a server to show up. She took our drink order and said she would be back shortly to take our food order. We then waited another 20 minutes to get our drinks. Then FINALLY another server showed up to take our food order which was very simple. Four salads, 2 Escargot and a chicken dish. AGAIN, the food took forever to get served. The Caesar salads had a vinaigrette dressing on them, the Escargot were lukewarm at best. When we were starving at this point, so of course we ate mostly everything. When we complained, they offered to “comp” the 2 beers only. Sad! Would never go back!

Servizio pessimo: ci hanno portato subito due portate su quattro ma senza posate tovaglioli bicchieri e pane che abbiamo dovuto chiedere più volte e che ci hanno portato parzialmente. Arriva la terza portata ma la quarta , che era uguale, un bel po' dopo e dopo che l'abbiamo richiesta! Veramente disorganizzati e irritanti...Cibo e prezzi nella norma.

Petit repas entre amies. Nous sommes arrivées à 19h30, la prise de commande a été rapide. Le service des plats était aussi rapide mais la cuisson du steak n'était pas respectée. 1h après nous avons eu la carte des desserts, nous avons commandé des moelleux chocolat au coeur caramel beurre salé, nous avons eu des moelleux chocolat au coeur framboise. Pas très satisfaisant dans l'ensemble. Sortie du repas à 22h00.
