Ikat - Rouen

We had an excellent dinner in a relaxed atmosphere in IKat restaurant, which is located in both pleasant and lively district of the « Croix de Pierre ». We had booked for dinner, before arrival. The interior of the restaurant is lovely. The food was delicious and very tasty, with subtle flavors, and definitely exceeded our expectations. The staff was professional, with perfect and attentive service. The ratio quality-price was good. Altogether, we highly recommend this restaurant, especially for tasty buds! We’ll come back.

Very friendly service. Staff spoke with us in English as our French is very minimal : Food was just EXCELLENT. Great atmosphere, welcoming staff and great local food. We'll come back to Rouen only to dine here. :

I would probably dine more often here if I were living in Rouen. Just to summarize the experience I had at Ikat Rouen: top notch service, excellent wine pairing, and my choice for taking Pork Fillet Mignon was a satisfactory indeed. The pork was so tender, juicy and full of flavor, and oh the flavor of the mushroom too! I wont forget this meal experience anytime soon : . I had Pannacota for the dessert and it was sooo mouth watering. The restaurant is ran by 3 creative, energetic personalities that I believe have put their maximum efforts to ensure good dining experience for their clients. If a crudity plate, a slice of gigot with sarladas apples, a brie of castings are the extreme terms of your table pleasure, I understand you but ikat is not for you. I recently returned and my excellent previous impression confirmed. a lot of work on each plate. each dish is thought intelligently to seduce the eye as the palace while creating an effect of surprise, exploration and discovery. the cheese plate is treated as a dessert. The dishes are of a complexity that defies all summarised, and we are surprised to be so delighted in a friendly but simple appearance restaurant. beautiful well-chosen wine menu at low prices, like the prices of ikat in general.

Limited proposals but what flavor! very well welcomed and pleasant restaurant room. a little bit excited, it's worth the detour
