Blueberry Cafe - Rotorua

Unexpected surprise of the most delicious blueberry pancakes I've ever tasted. Pancakes were layered individually with blueberries from the orchard, with a unique sweet taste. As you enter the cafe there are tasters for jam/chutney/jelly, as well as tasters for alcohol. We didn't have time to experience the museum, would highly recommend this hidden little gem.

It was a great little cafe in the middle of nowhere. Our first time there. Well, it's worth a stop over. Lots of history on the walls. Anna has a great team .

Now ending my NZ North trip and I plan to give reviews to all the F&B stores that we went to. Starting off with this gem If you are a fan of blueberries, peace, and beautiful sceneries, you should definitely visit Mamaku BB Farm. The service and the food was lovely! You may have to wait a bit long but it’s all good because the beautiful place and the scenery would keep you busy enough. Prices are reasonable as you are also paying for the experience. Overall I am really satisfied! Would recommend for sure!

You really need to go out of your way if necessary, to visit this decadent treat of an experience. You will remember this visit for the rest of your days. Nearly everything is healthy, well almost! The lashings of cream are kind of offset by the humongous pile of healthy berries that you 'll find dominating your plate. (OK, just kidding, but the pile of berries is absolutely true) However, do not feel guilty, as all the other dinners feel exactly as you, grateful to dine in anonymity! On the off chance you have arrived and are not into their signature healthy eating dishes, they do have many other options. But, as much as I liked the look of these, I was 100% there for the berries, and as such, I was in heaven. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and came away with some extra treats to remind us of our 'balanced meal ', that surely has to have been calorie neutral. Yeah right!

My second visit to Mamaku it's just as wonderful as the first visit last year! Place is cozy I love the donkeys! Coffee is only plunger type but good enough for a cold winter day.. Highly recommend the blueberry muffins that are packed with blueberries the yummy blueberry liqueur chocolates!!!
