Always a lovely atmosphere , great food and excellent service.

Surprisingly busy pub restaurant on a Thursday night (pleased me booked) with good parking. Good selection of traditional pub meals and limited selection of venison dishes. I had venison pudding, which was well worth the wait. Service was slow but friendly and polite.

Oh my the best pork belly and crackling ive had in a long time . Thanks carol for cooking .Hopefully on menu again soon . Ooh and apple gravy winner winner.

Nice chill classic British pub at the country side. The weather was nice when we sat outside

A great pub for food and ales. The sharing Camembert cheese dip was an excellent starter. Mains included skate fish, a lamb curry and steak. All were well prepared and flavoursome. Puddings were traditional pub choices like sticky toffee pudding , chocolate brownie and the like. Quite excellent. Great serving staff who were always pleasant. WORTH GOING. Pricing was around £16 for a main dish.
