Instead, I waited in line for 20 minutes to order at the bar, where there was no ice and the kids' fruit drinks were not refrigerated. When I ordered food, I was not informed of any wait time, so I placed my order. We ended up waiting 1 hour and 50 minutes for our food, which arrived with cheese missing from the Caesar salad and most of the dishes lukewarm. When we requested to speak to the manager, we had to wait another 15 minutes. They refused our request for a refund or any partial refund, despite giving us free desserts. Many other customers canceled their orders and went to the fish and chip shop next door. I recommend eating anywhere else but here. Additionally, the tables around us were dirty and leftover food was left out for hours. I regret not cooking for ourselves back at the lodge instead of trying to eat out.
We waited for over an hour for our food, which arrived lukewarm. The drinks were also slow to be delivered. We ordered through the app without being informed of any delays. After 30 minutes, we asked a front of house staff member about our order, but they didn't return. Eventually, we spoke to someone who seemed to be the manager, and they mentioned our order was in the kitchen. However, even after 15 minutes, our food still hadn't arrived. The staff member then informed us that our food was being prepared and would be next out of the kitchen. It took another 10 minutes for our food to finally arrive, making our total wait almost an hour and a quarter. Unfortunately, the food was not up to par. The chilli beef on the nachos was lukewarm and the onion rings on the family sharing platter were cold. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and I would not recommend dining here unless you don't mind waiting a long time for subpar food.
I visited Camber for the weekend with my family for a short break. This restaurant is located within the Park Resorts Park. We went for lunch and only ordered some starters as we were not very hungry. The prices were reasonable and the menu had a wide variety of options that you could order through an app to your table. We returned for dinner in the evening. Some of the staff were friendly, while others did not speak much. The food was good; I ordered fish and chips for dinner and was pleasantly surprised to receive two medium-sized fish in batter instead of one. However, my only complaint is regarding the drinks. On both occasions (lunch and dinner), our main meals arrived before our drinks. We ended up waiting around twenty minutes just for two diet Pepsis. If you want drinks, it is better to order them at the bar instead of through the app for a faster service.
We went on a Sunday with a limited menu as well as cooked dinner. When we ordered something off the limited menu we was told ‘ there wasn’t any left’ so we had to choose three different times as we was told the same thing. When food arrived it was cold, tasteless and just pretty awful in general. The place is run by youngsters and no one really seems to have a clue. The staff behind the bar were very unprofessional using verbal language…
Upon arrival there were no clear instructions to guests whether to order via the app or at the bar. The main dishes we ordered were basic and with no alterations, yet took about an hour to arrive. Food was passable, but could have been better considering the restaurant was not very busy. There are no waiting staff only food runners, who seemed to be very young and do not appear to be well trained. After our main course it then took a further 25 minutes for our deserts to arrive, all of were standard pre-prepared deserts that only needed plaiting. The venue was clean and tidy.
