Village Corner - Ross

Went by on a Tuesday at 2:30 and they were closed. Looks like they’re turning the place into a wine bar?

Hours are wrong.I’ve been here a few times. Last time looked pretty sparse. It’s a good concept though!

Apparently this shop opened in September, but if you didn't know that, it would be easy to think that it was a pandemic-inspired business. I've been wondering lately how I could take my little girls out for a treat sometime without taking them inside a shop. Then I learned about the Village Corner. It's a tiny little corner of a shop and currently functions as a to-go window. The door is roped off and the owner takes your order from the other side of the rope and hands it to you. And with Ross Common right there, it's easy to find somewhere to hang out to eat your snack. I think they have a variety of snack items, but there big seller is probably the Lappert's ice cream. We got ice cream cones and the owner was flawless in her contact-free presentation. She scooped the cones without touching ice cream or cones and then placed them in a cone holder so that there was no chance of contact between her and the customer.

Great local spot for a nice snack and coffee. Fantastic view of the Ross common! Perfect location
