Sagafjord - Roskilde

As a special tasty bite, I would like to take the guests from the city for the midday cruise on the sagafjord on a beautiful summer day. eating is traditional Danish lunch rate, and the atmosphere is relaxing, while the view from the windows and with a beer or...akvavit or two. highly recommended.

Lovely food by COFOCO, thought i do miss the vegetarian option, but otherwise it was lovely. we were a small party and with small kids, they loved to go out the boat and my biggest son, got the diploma for stearing the boat with the...captain .. wich was fantastic .. the weather was incredible .. I am seasick and I was very worry .. but the fjord was quite and I could´t feel anything ...

Th three-hour lunch cruise leaving from Roskilde was a success for u.The weather was beautiful, albeit cold, so the scenic part of the experience was perfect.The Easter buffet we had was of good quality allover, and even though I do understand that it might be...challenging to keep up with a boat-full of guests, it was somewhat disappointing that the buffet ran dry of various stuff all the time. Suddenly no more eel, then no more plates, then no more cheese... It was all attended to when we asked,but it shouldn't be necessary, really... Good quality raw material is the best card they have, and friendly young girls who do all they can to keep guests happy. A good Easter Sunday lunch, but four stars will have to do...

We had a lovely evening on board Sagafjord. We had been looking forward to the trip for a long time, and were not disappointed. I remember Sagafjord from when I was a kid where it was mostly a tourist trap with an ancient outdated menu....But the place has really gone through a revival. The menu was delicious and very reasonably priced. It is a set menu, where the only option available is if you would like dark meat, light meat or fish for the main course. The mood aboard the ship was great, and the staff was very service minded. When you add the prize of the menu to the cost for the boat trip and the necessary drinks, the bill was a bit high compared to the overall experience. At 1.700 DKK we would normally have expected more. So huge thumbs up for nice service and food, and a warm recommendation to all who do not mind paying a little extra for a dinner experience a little out of the ordinary.

We had an amazing afternoon sailing with coffee and scrumptious cakes, the staff were friendly and polite, the tour of the fjord was lovely despite the rain. we will be going back as soon as possible. Simply Fantastic.
