Taqueria Tapatio - Roseville

Quaint little Taqueria. We have enjoyed many trips there. We had business that way so we planned our day on getting there for lunch. I enjoyed chicken burrito and my dining partners enjoyed chili rellenos and Enchiladas.

I often buy food to pickup. The employees are friendly and the food is always good/affordable.

Couldn’t really review the food because I walked in. No one acknowledged me. Girl was on her cell phone having what appeared to be a personal conversation. I was there for probably 10 minutes before someone walked in after me (door dash I think) and they got helped right away. I walked out and went across the street to Carolina’s.

I spent $15 on four tacos, which I ordered over the phone, specifying that I wanted mild salsa. The person I spoke to seemed in a hurry and ended up making me six tacos, all with hot salsa instead. I watched as he grabbed two of the tacos with his bare hands, then combined another two to put four on one plate. An hour later, I ended up with diarrhea. I assumed he must have washed his hands, but it’s hard to say. The food looked appealing, and the tacos were quite large, but I really wish he hadn’t touched them with dirty hands.

We really enjoyed the food, especially the chile relleno. The service was excellent too!
