Mr. Paul's Chop House - Roseville

The most elegant , romantic atmosphere, valet parking, the service was Hollywood like, or movie like, the server was very professional. Everything, from lighting to ice water was a very extravagant experience. This is one of those restaurants that bring out the best in you and your date, it's a truly remarkable place ro communicate, and propose to your lady. Definitely a must try. Again this was one of the most humbling, amazing places I've ever ate at. A must I return when I come back to the D. ?????‍?????

So sad how bad this place went down, it was always a place we would go to celebrate big moments . I will never go back again. The coke tasted off and I told the waitress, which she argued that she tasted it and it was fine. She talked about it to the hostess which was 6ft from us and they both said it was fine. She brought us back 2 new cokes and said she changed the coke. They tasted exactly the same like carbonated brown water). French onion soup was old and the Cesar salad did not taste like the Cesar salads they once served. I ordered perch with fries and the fries were cold the fish was burnt. My husband ordered the lunch prime rib that was tougher than this bad review I’m leaving. $100 lunch wasted. The manager cleared my plates and didn’t even ask why I didn’t eat my food. Almost like he knew it was bad and didn’t want to deal with it. After them not fixing the simple coke problem, I wasn’t about to bring any of the other issues to their attention, not worth it. The brewery is much better and clean. The booth was ripped , the bathroom is gross and our table wasn’t properly clean when we sat down. Mr. Paul’s needs a deep clean and a renovation on top of hiring all new staff. Otherwise this place is well past its day, save your money and go to the brewery instead . Clean your walls, everything was absolutely disgusting.

Thanks to Chris, presented me with eating utensils, a steak knife for sure. It paired beautifully with our filet mignon,red skins, and lovely pastry tray. Exquisitely prepared MR. Visited a DEAR FRIEND who's family always enjoyed Mr Paul's. My memories are of 50 years. God bless you all
