Golden City Chinese - Roseville

Always delicious and consistently high-quality food, with large portions at reasonable prices. This charming little hole-in-the-wall restaurant, tucked away next to a 7-11 in a residential area, is a hidden gem you would never suspect! It's been our favorite Chinese restaurant for a few years now, and we absolutely love it!

The orange chicken was excessively breaded, and the sauce was thin and watery. The fried rice lacked any flavor, and the egg rolls were overly soft. While the food was served hot and the portions were generous, the overall quality was disappointing and inedible.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The pot stickers were overly doughy and unlike any I've ever tried before. We ordered two different entrée combos with fried rice and chow mein, but everything lacked flavor. The sweet and sour sauce seemed diluted in both appearance and taste. Honestly, it was tough to enjoy even while relaxed.

I have been eating here since 2013 and the quality and portions have always been great. super friendly people running the place as well.

I love their Mongolian beef and Ive tried all the appetizers except the one I wouldnt like. Ive tried 3 or 4 other entrees all really good but I migrate back to the Mongolian beef. Im glad they arent open for lunch or Id have it twice a day and 50
