Chili's Grill - Roseville

I had the worst experience with the Chipotle Chicken Fresh Mex Bowl. It was mostly rice—about 80%—and the chicken was overcooked and tough as a rock. The lettuce was wilted as well. I've had good meals here before, but this time it was barely edible. Yuck. I'm giving it one star, but honestly, it doesn't even deserve that.

The ribeye steak was terrible. Tasted like it had been cooked days ago. Salad had brown avocado that had been covered up a bunch of wilted spinach leaves. Fries with the chicken were limb and soggy. Only thing good was the broccoli.

The restaurant forgot my soup, even though it was marked on my receipt. That was a major disappointment, as it was meant for someone's meal. However, the chips and queso were fantastic! The Nashville Hot Chicken Crispers Combo was tasty, but a bit too spicy for my liking. Additionally, the small cup of ranch for dipping sauce was insufficient.

The food quality isn't what it used to be, especially when it comes to deliveries. On the bright side, they still have the best chips and salsa.

To make matters worse, the chili was lukewarm instead of hot. If it weren't for the overpowering saltiness, it might have been good. I also ordered a cup of creamy potato soup, something I'd never tried before. Oh my gosh, it was fantastic! It was nice and creamy, served hot, with great flavor and soft potatoes. I would rate the potato soup a solid 10 out of 10! The person who took my order was very nice as well. So, if you're a fan of super salty food, the chili might be perfect for you; otherwise, I recommend saving your money. But definitely give the creamy potato soup a try; it’s very delicious and worth it!
