This type of restaurants are my passion, so this review will be a flood of praise. “The marina” is a small family run restaurant run by fishermen. The menu changes every day according to the fish and this ensures that always fresh and quality products are served. The preparations are simple and tasty and served with the typical Abruzzo abundance: impossible to go out with hunger. I liked all of this place from food to service, without neglecting the location, very simple, but intimate and out of the usual tourist circuits (if you do not know it you do not find it). Great price. All right, keep going!
I visited the place for a fast lunch, I found kindness in the reception, excellent quality food served and pleasant presentation. Adequate the price quality ratio.
A pleasant evening, in order: the wine is to improve the assortment, still remaining the costs (which are contained) , for the bubbles you can do better; the appetizers, pleasant all, especially the raw ones, perhaps to preview the possibility that they are made available a couple to follow (remaining the cost of an appetizer type without forcing the commensali to divide the course from their own dishes, Overall excellent value for money with an outdoor place on the marina very pleasant. I recommend a view (whether for the winter season the indoor part is very sacrificed)
Roseto has several famous restaurants throughout the region for the high level of fish-based cuisine. For me Casaporto is among the top 3 for the quality of raw materials and the originality of some dishes (the beat of red shrimps of Mazzara is a work of culinary art); but more than the other two (perhaps more known) has a unique location. The atmosphere of the port of Roseto and the green surrounding the restaurant make it magical. Mark it among the courses not to miss also the tentacle of polipo, cooked to perfection, the fillet of orata and as dessert the cheescake to the mango and the creamy to the pistachio.
