El Mirador - Roses

We popped in here at lunchtime off the beach for a drink and were ushered to the seats at the side where we waited patiently to be served. Eventually we got an order in after 15 minutes. We observed some of the food being served and while some guests we not overly impressed, we decided to dine here as it was just across the road from where we were staying. The food was perfectly acceptable my husband had lamb and I had fish. The wine was not expensive. The staff were playing around with each other and throwing ice which was a shame as it was a lovely atmosphere watching the sun going down.

We like the ambiance of Mirador with its lovely views over beautiful L’Almandraba beach. The food is also good especially the seafood. Paella, Dorada, Moules etc. All good value and helpful pleasant service. Enjoyable lunch or dinner and not hugely expensive.

Good price quality ratio specially considering the location. Amazing during the evenings as it is more relaxed and the views are incredible. Service is very friendly and helpful and the lobster paella is very tasty.

Yesterday I went to eat the lookout and found a nasty situation on the part of some customers for getting angry without reason in the middle of the restaurant, for giving it to a French couple with a child and not giving them a table, when this man explained to him that the terrace was full and they did not understand why they were very close to the waiter that was super nice to us, I think to go back to look for the food for very attentive and friendly employees.

Excellent restaurant as well as its splendid seafront terrace where you can taste your excellent cuisine especially like this
