Inn At Otter Crest - Rose Lodge

This was a quiet and affordable place to stay with a beautiful view. When we arrived we checked the bed and I found hair inside the sheets and on the pillow cases. I called the front desk and received new sheets without issue. When I went to take a shower, I noticed a glob of hair in the drain catcher from whomever used it previously. I think if the rooms were cleaner, this would have been a more comfortable stay for me.

Disappointed. This used to be a 4 star resort. The location is at least 4 stars. But overall I would say a 3 stars rating is pushing it. The restaurant was formerly fine dining. Today it's pub grub and only 3 nights. The EV chargers are Tesla only with no adapter available. Room was clean with a Murphy bed, so not terribly comfortable. Grounds are immaculate be prepared to walk a LOT.

Great location. Pelicans each morning and night on the private beach. Had the honeymoon suite. Room had everything you needed. Fully equipped. No room service. Wasn't made aware at checkin so called on 3rd day for towels and coffee. 5 hours passed and had to make a follow up call. Arrived another 2 hours later.No cars allowed by the rooms. You take a golf cart each time driven by them. Plan ahead in case you have to wait for one to turn up. Restaurant on site would be a 2 star. Extremely slow service, food ordered was wrong. Had a burger that came with no bun?? Ribs were not good.

I absolutely love this place, anytime I head to the beach, I try to stay here. The views are incredible, the people are great. Decent distance in between Lincoln city and Newport so can visit either.

We’ve been staying here for over a decade. This isn’t some fancy hotel. It’s a Ocean side budget friendly rental. This is the place to stay for ocean views and basic necessities. The rooms are fine. They aren’t very up to date. Yes, it’s a walk to all the rooms. They can give you a ride to the building if you need it, but the paths are lovely. Yes, it’s in need of some modernization (Hello, EV charging stations please!! . Each room should come with room-specific instructions. (TVs work differently in different rooms, no fireplace or heat instructions, “hotel book” is very out of date .But those are some pretty minor things compared to the view you’re getting, the walking distance to Devil’s punch bowl, the quietness of the area, and Not having a ton of people packed into one building like you get at a hotel.
