Westway Grill - Roscrea

The staff at the restaurant were unwelcoming, the toilets were in a horrendous condition with no toilet paper and a broken mirror, making it totally disgusting. The new owners have made a massive change from the previous ones. The food was just okay.

I frequently come to this chipper for something to eat the food is amazing and the staff are even better always kind and generous servings I highly recommend coming here for some delicious food

My girlfriend and her sister went here and staff were horrible to them they were sexist to them when order was ready they were given order without cans that were ordered and when they asked for the cans they were told they hadn't ordered cans even though they had even if staff member hadn't heard them ask for cans he could have been nice about it but he was horrible to them about it when my girlfriend and her sister got back to where they were staying they realised the chips were burnt and two orders were wrong my girlfriend's sister went back they tried to make out there was nothing wrong with the chips and she got what was ordered they were being really nasty to her and the two staff members started speaking in their own language and were laughing they eventually gave a new order food still didn't taste great and all 4 who were eating the takeaway felt sick from it. This chipper is also expensive. I would highly recommend people to avoid this place at all costs

Food is disgusting chips were cold and the kebab meat wasn't nice its a real shame this used to be a great chipper most of the staff unfriendly the lad cooking the pizzas is the only worker in there

I was recently near Knock Shrine, County Mayo delivering items to a vulnerable person and it was past lunch time, I could not find any place to get something to eat, someone suggested the Hillside Grill on Main Street. This is an eat in or take out eatery chipper, however, due to COVID 19 only doing take out service at this time. I ordered the cheese burger (the burger chips were suggested).. Hand sanitizer was available as you enter, the place was spotless clean, the dining area was closed off, l though it looked quite comfortable and it had good lighting. adding the staff were extremely polite and pleasant, the cheese burger was quite tasty, (under 4 E) which is a plus as many visitors to near by Knock Shrine, consist of elderly, and many on fixed circumstances budget. Add all this together and I give the Hillside Grill a 4. This was not a one time only visit, I have been back again and had another quarter pounder cheese burger, and again, ' Hit the Spot. '
