Hidden Creek Estates - Roscoe

The location is truly lovely. The food was excellent. We rented a fire pit for 5 bucks a person. A smores kit was included. The fire pit was ours for the evening. It was a great deal. Our server was nice, too. These are reasons to return. There are things that need work, however. Overall, signage is lacking. Signage to find the place is poor. There is no signage where to park. Then, all of the foliage blocked the path to enter, so we forged our own way in wet grass. Again, signage would have been nice. Then, we kept getting mixed messages. When we arrived and asked about the fire pit, one person said it may not be ours the whole evening, but another said it was. Most importantly, later in the evening, a group of young boys were playing near the fire pits, right where we were sitting. They were yelling and screaming for hours, not the most relaxing. Then they began playing tag and hitting each other. At one point, one of the kids fell and knocked over our table that had our wine and smores on it. He was literally inches from the pit as he fell. I still don't know how he didn't get burned. The people running the place never told the kids to stop (they carried on like this near the fire pits the rest of the night, almost knocking into our table again), and we were offered nothing for the inconvenience. I am all for kids having fun, and the parents should have been more responsible, but as a business, they should be concerned about maintaining some level of quiet (at least curbing the constant screaming) and safety.

Beautiful relaxing atmosphere! So peaceful. Rented a pit four a birthday party and it was a hit!

Very busy and a little understaffed. Team were lovely but we had to seek them out to get our igloo and they offered to comp drinks by way of apology but then we were still charged.

The igloo experience was wonderful. Outside under a canopy with heaters. Manager personally stopped by and started another heater because my wife was a little cold. I recommend this place. Keep in mind. It is just snack platters, wine, and drinks. Not a full course dinner. We had cheese and bread with vinaigrette and tomatoes. It was great to just talk and enjoy each other’s company without the kids. Great date idea if you are looking to shake things up!

A wonderful spot to kick back and relax with a glass of wine with friends. Or a bottle. We won’t judge you.
