La Crique - Roquebrune-sur-Argens

I am French and difficult so please trust me when I say that I would go again to La Crique!First the view, nice "crique" not big so no busy and full of tourists :)Very good food, got an entrecôte but my friends got fresh fish and were very happy, the portions are great, might be even too much but who would complain!The staff was very friendly and unpretentious which is rare on the french riviera, also when we said we would get cash after lunch to pay (as they don't take cards) they didn't ask us for an ID and said they trusted us, I really really liked that.I will come again!Merci!!

We have now "adopted" this restaurant! Sat at the back of a very intimate rocky beach, Bruno and his chefs have made a huge effort to offer reallly interesting menus featuring dishes cooked in a variety of styles, including Asian, which give the simple, fresh ingredients a very unique twist. The service was super friendly and the wine is also good. Finally, the finishing touch (we won't spoil the surprise!) signs off a truly memorable experience. Well done team "La Crique"!!

I spent the afternoon lounging on the amazing sunbeds in this small private beach (5 stars for the lounging area!). The beach access requires some caution as the shore is rocky, but definitely worth a swim as the water is crystal clear and great for snorkeling. The ambience was so amazing I stayed for dinner as well, as the restaurant is out in the open right above the beach. I enjoyed dinner which was a French-Asian fusion experience with lots of fresh fish (I had the tuna tartare which was delicious). A bit expensive compared to other restaurants in the area. On the negative once the sun went down the mosquitoes emerged and I was bitten repeatedly. The waitress was helpful and lent me some bug spray but the damage was done..Apart from the insects a very enjoyable experience. Note they do not accept credit cards - cash only.

Excellent beach restaurant and cafe directly at seafront with full seaview. Absolutely delicate food and super service. We went 10 people of birthday celebration, giving chef carte blance and had a 3 course super meal with wine, water, coffee and avec for Euro 35. Absolutely good experience and value for money.
