We wanted to crown our wedding anniversary with dinner in the Ronneburg because we had gotten married there several years ago. Unlike our amazing wedding dinner, this time it was a total bust! The main courses arrived very late, so eating together was out of the question. When my wife's main course was finally served, the dumplings were still raw. After a complaint, the improved dish was served some time later. In my opinion, something like this shouldn't happen in a restaurant of this price range and this standard. The game ragout had a very tasty sauce but the meat content was very poor. We mourn the former operator.

The entire castle is a unique walk-in museum and lives only right on the knight games and the historic Christmas market that has always been known. Unfortunately only back to Corona (like many others).
