Move-a You Feetz-a To Fortunato's Pizza

Always so surprised and impressed with their food!!! I moved to lake ronkonkoma in June and I've popped in here while running to cvs 3 times now and have gotten the vodka slice, regular slice garlic knots and tonight I asked for a side of chicken with some garlic knots and WOOOWWWW!!! I did not expect this amazingly marinated side of chicken (with bread!! my new favorite pizza place and the whole staff is so welcoming and friendly! this place deserves all the recognition and I'm happy to say you will not be disappointed with anything!!! *edited, greasy fingers as I was stuffing my face with garlic knots*

I've been to many pizza places in my life, and, I must be honest, this is one of the best I have ever been to. The pizza is delicious, lots of tomato sauce on top, the way it should be, the hero sandwiches are great, salads are crispy, tasty, and the staff is polite and courteous. If you want great Italian food, this is the place. Fantastic!

The service was great. Everyone was very friendly, the wait time was extremely speedy and everything was brought to my table. I got a cheese pizza and some garlic knots. The garlic knots were as expected from most pizza places and the cheese pizza was very good as well. The only problem I had with the pizza was that it felt like it was missing something. It was a little bit bland but nothing that some oregano and some peppercorn couldn't fix. I've also gotten a chicken bacon ranch pie in the past and that was tasty as well. I do plan on coming back to this place and will hopefully try some other things on the menu to see how consistent they are.

Ordered a heart shaped garlic knot pizza on Valentine's Day at 11: 00 a.m. I asked for pick up to be at 5:30p.m. My husband got there at exactly 5:30 while at the same time they called me at home to say they were running behind by 45 minutes! We assumed they forgot and my husband questioned this yet all they said was they were running behind. If they knew this I should have received a call at 5:00 not at the time pick up should have been. So back home my husband came. He returned and questioned if they would make good by offering a discount. Initially they said they would take off the tax but waiting 45 minutes for a pie, especially when I called when they first opened is not acceptable. My husband had to involve the manager who did provide a good discount but honestly that should have been offered without involving a manager. As for the pizza--presentation for Valentine's Day was cute, and the pizza was good. Gave three stars due to poor organization.

Not sure if it was just an off day for these guys or what, but this was probably one of the worst takeout experiences we've had in years. Ordered a pizza and calamari. The calamari was wet, greasy glob of raw batter and rubbery squid. The sauce was good, but the calamari was gross, disgusting and completely inedible. I'm supportive of local, small business, but this was just NASTY. On to the pizza. The pepperoni and cheese were f good quality, but the pie was so undercooked it was also inedible. The dough was still stretchable, like the cheese should have been. The entire crust (it doesn't even earn the name crust because it was just uncooked dough) was white and gooey, top and bottom. In all this meal was an epic disaster, and we ended up having to Uber fast food because it was getting late. It eas like they disn;t care about quality at all, but just wanted to get it out the door. TOTAL waste of $40, and a waste of time. Too much good food around here to waste another attempt with these amatuers. This place seems like maybe a guy with more money than experience decides to open a resturant and has no clue. BEWARE!!
