Il Portichetto - RONCIGLIONE

Very good food and friendly atmosphere. Fresh ingredients and nice selection of different dishes. Not 5 starts because it still charges service apart (I.e. ‘coperto’ . For sure we’ll go back to Il Portichetto.

It was a good lesson in not basing a review on just one experience. Our first visit here was fine. The pizza was good but not exceptional. Service was a bit curt and slow. On our second visit the food was really excellent. We ordered the tagliata and it was done to perfection. Although it is not that big on atmosphere, I am glad we gave it another chance.

We live in Rome, but almost every weekend we go all the way out to Ronciglione at the Lake of Vico to eat here. The owners are more than warm and welcoming......The chef great one at that and the waiter the husband make a great team. There are a thousand restaurants and eateries in Rome. So why do we go there ??? Find out for yourselves if you love good food, good wine and good service. I have no idea about the prices, as my husband always pays. But he does say that it is very reasonable. So it must be.

After a trip to the lake we chose this restaurant. in appearance anonymous, we were greeted with great courtesy. our dog was well accepted. it was explained that everything was cooked at the moment, we chose very simple dishes that are exquisite results. not to miss noodles with wild boar sauce and fried potatoes, house specialties, but also grazing chicory was wonderful. very courteous service and more reasonable prices, a place to return permanently.

Attentive service, quality cuisine, compliance with standards. good price quality ratio.
