Came in with my wife and two kids and had to wait for 30+ minutes before the simple 4 bowls of pho showed up.What’s up with mandatory service charge of 15% for table of 4?Not coming back until service charge is removed. Would rather drive extra 10 min to HWY 45.
We come here often because it’s closest to our house but I’m going to have to find a new pho place, which is unfortunate because we generally like the food. The fried egg rolls only come with 1 leaf of lettuce for 3 rolls, which doesn’t work for me as I like to wrap my rolls with lettuce. If you ask for a leaf for each roll they tell you you have to order a side of lettuce, which is $2.50 and comes with a ton of lettuce. So by the time I add a side of lettuce my 3 egg rolls cost $8! No thanks.
Called in a to-go order. I ordered the grilled chicken rice plate. It comes with a bone broth soup. Since I’m not a fan of soup I asked if I could substitute the soup for an egg roll. I was told no I could only substitute for what comes on the meal like rice or chicken. So I opted for extra chicken. Seems weird they’ll give extra meat but not an egg roll or even an option to pay for the substitution but I continued my order. Seems the only way to get egg rolls from this place is to order them in quantities of 3 for over $5. I spent over $16 and tipped on top of that for a to-go order and didn’t even get so much as a fork or a soy sauce. Just the food. I’m not sure what marinade they use but it caused the chicken to be an odd orange color. Definitely not what I was expecting when ordering grilled chicken. The meat was bland, tough, and hard to chew. I couldn’t eat it. Waste of money. Definitely will not be coming back.
Prepare for culinary bliss! The broth is undeniably great and refreshingly clean. The beef noodle soup had me hooked, with the beef being both tender and bursting with flavor. Insider's tip: oxtail lovers should come early – we missed out this time. And that inviting aroma outdoors? It's a testament to the sensational spices harmonizing in the broth.
The broth quality here is top-notch, impressively clean. The standout for me was the beef noodle soup, where the beef was succulent and exquisitely flavored. Note to fellow diners: for oxtail enthusiasts, arriving early is a must – we didn't, and we regretted it. The fragrant aroma wafting outside hints at the incredible spice blend infused in the broth.
