Contribuiți la feedbackThis is a very out of way little restaurant, It was recommended to me by a close friend who visits Rome often. I owe him a bottle of great wine. We were in Italy for 12 days, and this is the place by far that we had the best meal. My wife orders the prawn risotto, I had the seabass. Both meals were exceptional, buy my wife risotto was incredible. Simona is the owner, server, food is served a leisurely passe, wine was delightful, and must get the Lemonchello shot at the end. PLEASE, if you go to Rome, stop and see Simona, will be one of the best meals of your life.
There are not enough superlatives to describe this restaurant and our experience. We were traveling with our entire family, 11 total with an 8 year old. We made reservation for all, then a few people decided they were to tired so we reduced number to 8. Emailed the manager and she was happy to accomodate the smaller group. Then the other 4 decided they did indeed want to go. Called the manager and she was happy to accomodate us all. Arrived to find this small restaurant down a dark alley and a long table set up between two parked cars. We were a little nervous but once we were greeted and the wine and food started to appear we were all blown away by the experience. This restaurant has been in the chef’s family for 3 generations, his wife is the manager and his sister is the waitress. Was a long dinner but somewhat expected since we were such a large group. Reservation is absolutely necessary but definitely try this one when in Rome.
We went to this beautiful authentic restaurant during our 5 day trip to Rome, we searched for a restaurant with a good gnocchi dish and we definitely found. The Gorgonzola gnocchi with black pepper and bacon was amazing. My girlfriend also had a great amitriciana pasta and the desserts were delicious. the restaurant is small scale so reservation recommended, but you get great friendly service and it's just around the corner of piazza navona. Thanks for the amazing food and experience ;
Consigliatissimo.
Ambiente semplice, accogliente. Ho mangiato degli ottimi tonarelli alla gricia, cottura espressa, ben conditi, porzione abbondante. Raccomandabili.
