Patanegra - Roma

We were staying around the corner so we thought we would walk round and have an early dinner here. The waiters were very helpful and tried to explain everything to us in English. We started with zucchini flower which was pretty good but maybe lacking some flavour. My gnocchi was good, unusual sauce but quite nice for something different. My husband had the hamburger and said the beef was particularly good. The panna cotta we both had was very nice but not what we were expecting- the menu offers 3 flavours which are actually just vanilla panna cotta with a sauce/topping. My husband's berry was better than my chocolate. We finished with macchiatos which were excellent. Overall we had a very nice evening.

Free prosecco to start followed by a beautiful pasta dish for my wife and I really enjoyed the steak with salad (plus a side of fries) sangue (very rare). The owner translated the menu for us as best he could and we felt very welcome. Only problem is being in Rome we had lots of smokers near us, which we didn't like whilst eating but that is the culture of here. Will definitely eat again if we have time!!

Gennaro melchiorre. ottimo ristorante/pizzeria, mangiare personale eccezionale, molto preparato, cortese e sempre disponibile.

Vorrei poterlo fare. Lo chiamerei così. posizione bella e ben curato. cibo nei media. Niente eclatante. ma il servizio non lo fa. Se mettete alcuni pipistrelli al servizio almeno lasciatelo studiare due linee su quello che è il patanegra, ma solo x che è chiamato il locale. E poi, se ordinassi, vorrei sapere la differenza tra una cosa e l'altra. si può migliorare
