Mr. Brown - Roma

This is my ideal perfect bar! I love bars like this but sadly a couple similar in London have now closed down. I'm a cider drinker but they dont serve cider here. So I tried a local beer and it was actually really nice and I don't really drink beer. The decor is fantastic and unique. I would be here all the time if I lived in Rome!

Nice little bar and could be a great bar apart from the music videos which were offensive, sexist and not appropriate for a public venue. I asked twice for alternative and more inclusive music to be played and this was ignored and it seemed the staff were happy to select music (through YouTube streaming) that wasn’t inclusive.

Great dive bar that we came to 4 nights in a row while in Rome. 1st night I ordered an Old Fashioned which did not taste quite right to my liking, I'm not one to complain so just ordered another drink and the bartender (Alfredo I think) noticed and made me another Old Fashioned with the other 2 bartenders coaching, tasting critiquing which was spot on. We were treated as if regulars and when we left the last night Alfredo came around the bar and gave us hugs good bye! Great atmoshpere.
