By far the best gelato we had in Rome, or perhaps anywhere else!!! You must try this place before you leave this city!!!!!

My daughter has major food allergies but two days ago the owner found the perfect solution for her A smoothy with strawberry icecream and Apple juice Understandably she was in seventh heaven and the smoothy was really REALLY GOOD! And the owner really really friendly and helpful Price paus for two smoothies: 7 euro So this morning she begged me to have another one I went in, the owner was not thwere unfortunately, and it became immediately clear that working is a hobby activity for the girl standing behind the bar I explained what we Wanted and was barked at that the juices were in the fridge behind me ..... Ok, so I took one and she asked “two coffee?” Really? I am here with a child..... You Did not even listen to me So I explained again Undriendily she responded this was not possible so I insisted She paured the whole juice in the blender and added two scoops of ICE cream I tried to stop her telling her it was to much and that one bottle was sufficient for 2 smoothies Again in a barking tone she said “calm down I know what I am doing” I Will get another bottle for the second smoothy I got so upset at this utterly rood and arrogant girl that i told her that one was enough So half of the juicy liquid was tosses away by her And When I asked to pay I was asked 5,50 euro for 1 smoothy!!!! Theft! I told the girl that this was bizar because I had paid 7 for 2 Her response: “ What do you want I am not here at your disposal” really????? I thought you were working there Long story short The smoothy was DISGUSTING and was thrown away100 meters later and a crying child at the exquiisite cost of 5,50 euro If you go there make sure the owner is there... otherwise walk another 50 meters and on the other side of the street you will be treated decetly and not ripped off

This is a great little place for a coffee in the morning or a sweet treat at night! It is clean and the food/dessert is fabulous! The staff, at any time of day I went there were friendly and helpful. We snuck in there one night to get out of the rain and had a scrumptious tiramisu that was the perfect sweet to end the evening!! A huge bonus....CLEAN bathroom! Love this place, close to the Vatican!

Best gelato, cannoli, croissants and espresso drinks anywhere near the Vatican. Very friendly staff and good prices.
