L'aquila D'oro - Roma

Was recommended this restaurant by our hotel and we had a wonderful time. A great authentic, family run restaurant with friendly staff. Incredibly generous portion sizes, great wine! Feeling very full and content at just over €20 a head! Also, there were no hidden service charges added to our bill!

Great little restaurant. Authentic Italian. Lasagne wonderful and pizzas received thumbs up. The tirimasu was fabulous. 3 mains, one side, 1 desert, 1/2 litre wine plus bottle of water 45 euro. Cannot wait to go back.

Nice and traditional food. Not the best but worths what you paid. You don't pay for atmosphere but what you eat.

Have been there twice already. Friendly, family run. Lots of locals know it's excellent food. We have tried two different pastas, lasagne and their roast pork, all have been absolutely great, exceptional! House wine is good too.

Pasta was a very nice al dente with very good cheese. The owner was also very friendly and patient with the communication difficulties!
