Giardino D'abruzzo - Roma

We found this place because we were staying at the Crowne Plaza which was a short walk away. We had such a great meal the first night; we decided to come here again for a second night. All good reviews you may have seen are completely correct. This place is amazing. Both nights we arrived around 7 with no reservation and the place was very quiet. By the time we left around 8:30, nearly every table was full. The food was fantastic we had carbonara, a margarita (cheese and tomato) pizza, a calzone, and they made a 'pasta pomodoro ' for our children. To drink they offered large sharing bottles of Coca Cola as well. Dessert was also wonderful; we had tiramisu, a pineapple, and gelato. Tip: Ananas means pineapple. Ananas al maraschino doesn 't mean what we thought. We thought it meant pineapple with cherries. What it did mean was pineapple soaked in maraschino booze. We ordered this for our 5 year old. Luckily he didn 't like the taste that 's when we noticed our blunder. We got the normal ananas for him and I ate the boozy pineapple. The second night we ate here was much the same without the language error. A chef or manager gave each of our children some dough to play with and they got to pretend to make pizzas, dough balls, or anything really whilst we waited for our food. As this restaurant is not in the centre of Rome, some staff speak English. I 've learned some basic Italian, but google translate also came in handy here.

Fantastic food good value for money, friendly helpful staff, gets very busy so I would recommend either booking or turning up just before 7.pm We had 3 courses and a bottle of Pinot Grigio bill was £53euros . It’s out of the way not in city centre but we were staying at crown plaza and was a ten minute walk

The first night we ate here we’d not actually got a reservation, but they did manage to get us a table on the proviso we vacate it by a certain time which we did. : Firstly be aware that most of the staff speak no english, but with the help of my translation app we managed to have some great food. So much so when we returned on our last visit I got our hotel to ring and reserve a table for us : again the food and service was amazing.

Delicious pizza fades as I like. fried and bruschette really good. the account was right

Excellent discovery, near home appetizers really good its chips that the soute of mussels, first cheek and delicious artichokes made to perfection, excellent pizza already taken with takeaway previously. very kind and friendly staff, as the owner. price of quality ratio. congratulations
