Celestino - Roma

If you go to San Lorenzo you have to at least start your night at Celestino's: it's one of the most appreciated and populated bars of the neighbors. The atmosphere is simple and unpretentious, the music is a decent mixture of alternative rock, and 3.5€ for a cocktail is a steal. Sometimes there is even live music. Unmissable!

Marvelous free local gem in the heart of San Lorenzo. The pasta dishes were absolutely perfect, with the pasta cooked precisely, the carbonara had a dreamy egg cream with the most balanced blend of pecorino and black pepper, tasty and salty at the right point, and the guanciale so crunchy and yet not burnt at all, just perfect. Friends took the cacio&pepe and that one was also drool-worthy. Totally recommend!

Very cheap cocktails and a large variety.of beers. Friendly atmosphere inside and outside and nice stuff. Cool live events.
