Centrally located on a very busy street, with nothing to screen you from the noise and exhaust. Pizzas are about as good as you can expect from a simple electric oven rather than a proper wood-brick oven. House wine was not good. Servers were friendly, but prices were strictly average for the center of Rome. If it had been cheap, considering the ambiance and quality, it would be worth a quick lunch now and then. It's probably the best that can be offered in the space, but it is not great.
We have been traveling all morning and needed a bite to eat. We stopped and had the fried mozzarella for an appetizer and each individual pizzas for lunch. The marinara sauce was the best I've had in Italy so far! Perfect combination of garlic and spices!!
The place is cosy and we found it by chance, not planned at all and was one the best surprises. The tomato soup is to die for!
We returned from our trip to Rome yesterday and we ate at this restaurant twice during our stay. On our first visit we had starters and mains and sat inside of the restaurant. On our second visit we had mains and sat outside of the restaurant. My husband and I enjoyed our meals on both occasions and had different dishes on both visits. We found the staff to be friendly and welcoming and we would visit again when returning to Rome. I particularly enjoyed the lasagne! Thanks again!
