Contribuiți la feedbackMy wife and I ended an absolutely wonderful 18 days in southern Italy with a much less than wonderful meal at Be Eat. We really wanted to like this restaurant but it was such a mixed bag overall. On the plus side, it is a very striking white and silver modern interior. Our waitstaff was very pleasant and solicitous. My tuma main course was perfectly prepared with a great nut crust and delicious jam alongside. On the minus side my wife 's sea bass (and we had been eating Italian seafood nonstop for two weeks was just terrible. It was so dry that she couldn 't even eat half. It might have been a nice piece of fish once upon a time. Unfortunately, our Italian is so poor (non existent that we couldn 't convey our displeasure. (Not their fault that we dont speak their native tongue. In between the primi was so so ravioli. Again, we 're pretty experienced Italian food diners, but the ravioli were well short of al dente. Also, we made it clear (or tried to that we would be sharing the first course and both would have separate second courses. Mary 's overbaked sea bass was served at the same time as the ravioli so that I ate my tuna all by itself. Whatever the language difficulties, who would have wanted a primi and secondi served simultaneously? Lastly, for us the otherwise rather classy ambiance was certainly diminished by the loud MTV type music show from numerous TV screens in the restaurant. (And, yes, I do get it that the music gave the place a BEAT Be Eat. This could have been a good experience and we wanted to like Be Eat but it fell far short.
They have great meat, but now in this new location also fish and quite original menu, great desserts and entrees.
Really good grilled salmon with spinach, vegetables and nice white wine. Desert was tasty cheesecake with espresso. Place was clean and very comfortable with very nice service. I booked table via TheFork app and got even 20 discount. I can recommend this restaurant for everyone.
Our friends in Ostia took us here on our first night, we begged to go back on our last night. The food was prepared and served with care, I can see why it's a local favorite.
Wandering around and looked on Google for lunch locally. This was the closest place open and a very happy find! Excellent fresh food we had sea food and a cheese fish. Language a bit of a challenge, but worth the effort of looking up items on the menu for translation. Really recommend this place. Local wine also excellent, as was the service.
