My wife and I were overall disappointed with the experience. While the architecture was interesting and the food was decent, it was not our best meal in Rome despite being our most expensive. The service was lacking. We felt neglected, even by Italian waiter standards (who typically leave you alone much more than American waiters). Despite the restaurant not being busy, we ended up having to stand up and go find our waiter to get our check and pay after the other parties that were seated around the same time as us had long ago received their checks and left.

Just good, quality, no nonsense traditional Italian food. Quaint location and unpretentious wine list make this a great place for a Roman meal. Best carbonara I’ve ever had. Highly, highly recommend it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
