Colton's Steak House Grill Of Rolla, Mo

My wife and I were in town for one night. We were happy we found this place. We read the reviews. Some were good and some not so good at all. But the food was very good and our server was great. They were busy on a Friday night but Sheigh was great. Her service was outstanding and she was very friendly. Next time we come through from Ohio again we will definitely stop here.

Our 1st time here. This place gives you a Texas Roadhouse/ Longhorn feel. You get a bag of peanuts at the door. The waitress brings out hot buttery rolls with regular butter on the side to your table. We ordered the mushroom Swiss burger which was cooked juicy, the strawberry, mandarin orange, candied pecan salad with grilled chicken added, chicken strips with fries. Ok the food presentation was very nice however, EVERYTHING lacked seasonings. The candied pecans will cut the roof of your mouth open! The grilled chicken was dry and no flavor, the Swiss burger was beautiful and juicy, however, no seasonings at all, the chicken strips golden brown to perfection, however not good, my daughter ate only one in a half, also lack of seasonings and the crunch way too crunchy basically hard. Like I said the food came out looking very well put together. The water has this bleach taste, so there 's no purified spring water here. The waitress was nice.

The steak was perfectly cooked this time. The chicken was grisly but tasted good. Service was great. Very friendly and attentive.

This place is going downhill we used to enjoy Coltons in Rolla chances are we will not be going back it was so bad we asked to speak to the manager and the manager would not come out and speak to us It’s their loss not ours There are plenty of other places to dine

Food a bit off this visit. Pasta dry, rolls hard, but the service as always was friendly and accurate.
