Harvest - Rogersville

I try to come every time I'm in town. Best restaurant in Springfield as far as I'm concerned (even if it's not *in* Springfield). Food is beautiful, elevated but not pretentious. The attention to detail is phenomenal. Each flavor placed with another sends your taste buds buzzing, wanting the next bite from appetizer to dessert. The service is fantastic with an attentive, respectful team. This place had great reviews so I went on a date with my husband and I was SUPER disappointed! We ordered an appetizer which was good: 3 slices of fresh tomatoes with 2 slices of mozzarella and pesto with a couple slices of bread. The freshness was great. The portions were ridiculously small. Salad and bread are charged for $10-15each side per person...not included with any meal. Then the entrees were served much later for $36-46 per plate with no seasoning on the protein, no option for salt or pepper on the table, and again the portions were super small and flavorless!!! The only question from the service was how my drip of a drink was!?! It took 30 minutes to receive a couple of 2 oz drink that cost $15 each!!! worst waste of money ever!!!
